How Honey Brook Organic Farm CSA Works

Our membership sign-up season is from mid-October to whenever we sell out for the upcoming season.  Current members have priority for the subsequent season; however, every year there are some memberships available for new members.

Members receive a variety of seasonal, fresh vegetables, small fruits, herbs and flowers once a week during the harvest season in exchange for their membership fee.  The majority of our produce is grown on certified organic fields in Pennington, NJ; a small number of “transitional sustainable” crops are grown on our farm in Chesterfield, NJ.

Our harvest season typically runs from May to mid-November, but could start as early as mid-May, depending on spring’s weather. We grow over 60 types of crops and 350 varieties (including many unusual and heirloom varieties), allowing us to provide you with the greatest possible diversity of crops in each week's offering. For information regarding our crop offerings and availability, see our Harvest Calendar.

How to Become a Member

Click here to be placed on our mailing list.

To join our CSA program, you’ll need to decide what size and type of membership is right for you: the Individual or Family share for pick up at the Pennington, NJ farm, or a Delivered Boxed Share membership for one of our convenient sites located throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  If you are planning to share a share, you need to obtain your share partner’s information to adequately complete the Application Form.

Next, download the Application Form (2008 SEASON SOLD OUT!) during the membership sign up season, fill it out and mail it along with your payment(s).  For the sake of simplified bookkeeping, we ask that members splitting a share issue only one check per payment. The person issuing the check will be considered the designated “Share Member” (see the Application Form). For example, all Share Partners write a check for their portion to the Share Member, and then the Share Member writes a check to the farm for the total amount due.

Be careful while filling out your application.  This information will be used to create your Membership Badge, communicate with you during the harvest season and enter your name on the sign-in sheet. We always sell out of memberships, so you are encouraged to respond quickly to avoid disappointment.

How Much Does It Cost?

Membership fees can be found on our Application (2008 SEASON SOLD OUT!), during our membership sign-up season.
