Farm Events - Save these dates!!

Saturday, April 26 - Work Party at our New Chesterfield Farm: 10am - noon

Help plant a tree-lined hedgerow on the farm.  This hedgerow will provide wildlife habitat while protecting the farm’s topsoil from wind erosion.  Bring work gloves plus a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather.  The farm will supply tools and a healthy lunch that we’ll enjoy in the farm’s antique barn.  Please register with Sherry at sherry@honeybrookorganicfarm.com, or leave a message on 609-737-8899.
   
June 21st - SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION!! 

    6pm - Potluck Dinner
    7:30pm - Solstice Celebration

Celebrate the Summer Solstice at the farm. The celebration will take place rain or shine, so dress appropriately.  Please bring percussion instruments and a lawn chair or blanket. Join us for a potluck dinner or bring a light snack or beverage to share around the campfire after the celebration!!

Second Friday in August - "Local Meal" Pot Luck Dinner: 6pm - 8pm                 
   
Bring a food item to share and join us for a potluck dinner or bring a light snack or beverage to share around the campfire after the dinner!! We’re putting an interesting spin on this potluck and are asking that the majority of the ingredients in your dish be locally-sourced.  Keep your eye on the August edition of our newsletter, The Local Harvest, for suggestions for sources of locally produced food and beverages.

Second Saturday in September - WORK PARTY: 9am – 11am

Gather your friends and family and join Farmer Jim and Sherry in doing farm chores.  We will supply hand tools for when we get “down and dirty” and after the work is done, we’ll enjoy a healthy snack!  The work party is open to CSA members, as well as those curious about the CSA or organic farming.
