| Jim
Kinsel, Farm Manager |
Jim Kinsel had worked on several farms throughout New Jersey (Farmer John's Organic Produce, Warren; E. R. & Son Organic Farm, Jamesburg; Howell Living History Farm, Hopewell Township) before coming to Watershed Organic Farm (now Honey Brook Organic Farm) in 1991. Jim has a degree in mathematics, which he does have the opportunity to dust off now and then on the farm. In organic farming, Jim enjoys the challenge of working out solutions to the pressing problem of how we choose to interact with the natural world in our most fundamental relationship - through the food we eat and where it comes from. In his off-time, Jim likes to read about farming, sing to his pets (cats Murphy, Sophie and Bobby and Jack, the dog) and advocate for positive change in state policies that endanger the future viability of agriculture in the Garden State.

| Jack, The Farm Dog |
Jack is the son of our first farm dog, Bob. His job is rodent control, as well as to just plain look cute when visitors come to the farm, especially professional photographers. We are firmly convinced that Jack is the most popular of our staff members! Sarah Mitrano, a student at Timberlane Middle School, took this photo.
